Am I eligible for the Chase Freedom Flex® Card?

To qualify for the Chase Freedom Flex® card, first and foremost, applicants must be at least 18 years old, with exceptions in Alabama and Nebraska where the minimum age requirement is 19, and in Puerto Rico, where it is 21.

Additionally, if married, an applicant may apply for a separate account.

A good to excellent credit score of at least 670 or higher is typically required to be considered for the Freedom Flex.

However, it’s essential to note Chase’s “5/24 rule”. If you’ve opened more than five personal cards in the past 24-month window, even if they’re from issuers other than Chase, you may not be approved for a new card.

In addition, individuals must be residents of the United States, possess a valid social security number, and demonstrate sufficient annual income to cover card payments.
